How is river management addressing the use of drones in wilderness and on our wild rivers?  In an effort to find out I wrote to Merv George, the Forest Supervisor on the Six Rivers National Forest responsible for much of California's wild Trinity River.

With no detailed information in the Trinity River Management plan concerning use of motorized equipment within a wild river corridor I requested additional information concerning drone and/or ORV use in a designated wilderness or within a designated wild river cooridor

As yet, no reply to my October 25, 2017 letter.
